Yesterday morning while I was at the grocery store, I came upon the greatest thing (yes, my life is so dull, I get excited easily) – Caribou ground coffee. Being on the West Coast – there are plenty of Starbucks and Peets , but I grew up in the Midwest and we have Caribou. I love Caribou and remember the good ol’ days when my friends and I would leave school to walk to the Bou on Grand Ave and get ourselves Vanilla Coolers - ah, those sweet high school days.
Back to reality – of course I paid the $10.50 for the Caribou’s Columbian ground coffee and immediately went home and brewed a pot. And boy was it good – it was tasty and delicious and oh-so-smooth. Good purchase in my books. I better make sure I stock up on my Bou before it runs out. Once something is out, my local grocery store doesn’t tend to stock up (I mean, seriously what’s the deal with that Lucky’s????)
So, here’s a big thank you to Caribou to getting their stuff out to the West Coast. And keep ‘em coming.
